The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Soldiers Party

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with extensive world-building, a diverse cast of heroes, and a thrilling plot including divine entities, fiends, and malevolent powers growing in power within the urban setting.

Note: Spoilers for Episode 3 of the new season follow below.

The Warrior Group Unveiled

The third episode finished on a huge suspense moment and revealed the premier party of heroes who will separate from the primary party to embark on their own adventure, separate from the remaining groups.

This warrior group consists of Teor Pridesire (played by Travis), Thimble (the talented performer), the fierce warrior (Whitney), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and Kattigan (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

Considering an extensive roster, it was evident from the outset that having everyone at the same party would be unworkable.

Hence, the opening chapters of the new season serve as an Overture, intertwining the characters’ stories before branching into three separate parties: Warriors, Schemers, and Questers.

The Nature of the Warrior Group

Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the combat-focused party is for adventurers who enjoy a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven story mode where non-violent answers are rare.

At first glance, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander might seem out of place, but the events of the latest installment make it clear why these five characters are ideally matched for the combat party.

Why They Must Go

First, the group understands precisely where to go next after a intense opening clash with the antagonists.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose demise kicked off the campaign’s events—used The Crow Keepers for his own means, breaking into Thjazi’s hideout, attacking Thimble, and swiping all the magical artifacts to sell off.

Casimir then paid off his obligations and ran away to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond the urban center, with Teor’s brother close behind.

Personal Motivations

Secondly, each adventurer has a personal reason to leave the city the metropolitan area:

  • The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and trusted friend, desires vengeance.
  • The knowledgeable figure is familiar with Timmony and cautions that it is a hostile environment.
  • The warrior and The cleric, having defied his family’s wishes to execute Teor and instead rescued him, have no other options.
  • Yet, their reputation as key figures in the powerful family could help the group enter areas they normally couldn’t.
  • Additionally, The grateful character vowed a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his rescue and will now accompany him anywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are hunted by the rulers that govern the setting for a multiple motives, making remaining behind dangerous:

  • Thimble and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The strong figure and Wicander betrayed the influential house and the legion of demons they are allied with.
  • Teor is marked for death by the family.

This results in them no alternative but to journey toward the northern region in pursuit of the traitor.

What’s Next?

According to the recent installment’s follow-up content, we find out that the Soldiers table will not appear in the upcoming installment, leaving the other eight participants to assemble the Seekers and Schemers tables.

Viewers can expect finding out which adventurers will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s last Overture episode, streaming live on the upcoming Thursday.
